Проект Dip появился в 1997 г. составе двух музыкантов Сергея Боброва (Di99er) и Сергея Становова (Dj Сергей Placid). Основными направлениями творчества Dip являются стили house и techno. В 2000 г. группа, в сотрудничестве с MC Propan, записала несколько hip-hop треков, которые в течение года звучали в живом исполнении во многих клубах Московской и Тверской областей. Первым официально изданным треком коллектива стала композиция “Come back” в сборнике “Discotech – progressive house”, выпущенным компанией «Grand Records» в 2001 г. Участие коллектива в этом сборнике состоялось благодаря поддержке электронного музыканта и продюсера, одного из основателей российского лэйбла «Solaris station», Евгения Родионова. В 2002 г. Dip приняли участие в презентации проекта музыкального сообщества «Куриндас» в клубе «Город», наряду с такими музыкантами и диджеями, как The Greenpoint Dub Orchestra, LMC project, Алина Секвенция, DJ Fish, DJ Dima Fly. С 2002 г. музыканты проекта Dip погружаются все глубже в мир techno и ambient, параллельно делая ремиксы на композиции различных музыкантов и выступают, как ди-джеи. В 2005 году увидел свет дебютный альбом группы – “Something to share”. Летом 2005 года проект dip был приглашен организаторами ежегодного летнего фестиваля «КаZантип» в качетсве официального участника. В свободное время участники Dip выступают в качестве DJ’s.
A project Dip appeared in 1997 composition of two musicians of Sergey Bobrov (Di99er) and Sergey Stanovov (Dj Sergey Placid). Basic directions of creation of Dip are styles of house and techno. In 2000 a group, in a collaboration with MC Propan, wrote down a few hip-hop tracks which during a year sounded in living execution in many clubs of the Moscow. The first officially published track of collective was become by composition of “Come back” in collection of “Discotech – progressive house”, let out a company «Grand Records» in 2001 Participating of collective in this collection took place due to support of electronic musician and producer, one of founders of Russian label «Solaris station» (Evgeniy Rodionov). In 2002 Dip took part in presentation of project of musical association of «Kurindas» in a club «City», along with such musicians and deejays, as The Greenpoint Dub Orchestra, LMC project, Alina Sekventsiya, DJ Fish, DJ Dima Fly. With 2002 the musicians of project Dip submerge all deeper in the world of techno and ambient, parallell doing remixes on composition of different musicians and come forward, as djs. In 2005 light saw the debut album of group – “Something to share”. The project of Dip was invited the summer of 2005 by the organizers of annual summer festival «Kazantip». In own time the participants of Dip come forward as DJ’s.
